BIO: A self-described “expert on nothing,” Kara has varied experience in a multitude of different roles that would spin the head clean off of lesser mortals. She has an educational background in Marketing and has worked as a PR person for a hospital, a sales executive for a sports franchise, a Rodan + Fields consultant, a teacher for a college, and almost single-handedly runs her family’s small business. Relevant to broadcasting, she also has more than two decades’ worth of experience as an on-air radio personality.
Eventually, Kara crossed paths with Lazy E while working in radio and ended up randomly co-hosting an episode of A Freak Accident after Lazy E asked everyone else and they all said “no.” She may have been Lazy E’s last choice to fill in, but she was our first (technically third) choice to sit in the fourth mic spot permanently (or until she gets sick of us and flees)! To this day, Kara still isn’t quite sure exactly how she ended up on the podcast, but she figures she might as well make the most of it.
Kara is a bright ray of sunshine and an undeniable positive influence on a Show filled with miserable, jaded cynics, which makes her a stand-out on any episode you listen to. She has an opinion on absolutely everything, and though her takes can sometimes be sarcastic, they are almost always upbeat. Combine that with her trademark giggle, and it’s enough to make anyone crack a smile even while shaking their heads.
