Started off with some Atreyu. Their new album, In Our Wake, hits your ears October 12th with “The Time is Now” serving as the first single.
We were excited when we got some new Bring Me The Horizon, and had to share it with you. It’s called “Mantra”, which will be part of Amo that comes out January 11th.
Then we got hit in the lobes by Disturbed. Their album, Evolution, is said to be a dynamic release, which we’ll get on October 19th. You first got a taste of it with the hard hitting tune “Are You Ready”, and now you’ll hear the other side of the band with “A Reason To Fight”.
Finally, ending things out with an unreleased track from Chris Cornell called “When Bad Does Good”, which is one of 13 unheard songs from him we’ll hear on a box set coming out November 16th, along with his stuff from Soundgarden, Audioslave, and solo projects.
The Ig Nobel Prize winners are in! Now in case you don’t know what these are, it’s honoring achievements that first make people laugh, and then make them think. Started things about with the latest release from Muse called “Something Human”. No word on if this will be included on their new disc coming out in the Fall, but it does follow the idea they were teasing; jumping through different eras of music.
And we were waiting for Slash to come back with his solo thing featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, and it’s finally gonna happen September 21st with the release of Living the Dream with “Driving Rain” serving as the first single.
Then it’s a guy named Kulick, who started his musical journey back when he attended high school in our neck of the woods, Tobyhanna, PA, to deal with bullying an anxiety. This is his song “Ghost”.
And finally a new release from Greta Van Fleet. It’s a sneak peak of their first full length album that their completing as we speak, and continues that Led Zeppelin sound with “When the Curtain Falls”
