Forget the game, the only thing people wanna talk about from Monday Night Football is the release of the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Make sure to soak it in, and then tune into our October 12th, 2017 episode to hear the breakdown, and maybe some stuff you hadn’t thought of coming out of it.
Only a little over a month to go to see if DC could do the comic world… justice with the Justice League movie.
Now, we’ve all been through this song and dance with DC before; Great trailer, terrible movie execution. BUT they proved they could do otherwise with the release of Wonder Woman, so could lightning strike twice?
It was a numbing moment on Sunday when we all heard about the senseless shooting at a Jason Aldean concert in Las Vegas.
It’s times like these that make you feel afraid, angry and, ultimately, helpless. But you can make a difference.
Take whatever you can, even if it’s just extra change, and donate it below. A dollar may not mean much to you, but to a family that just lost a father, mother, child, or brother, it could mean to world.
Can we all agree Tinder just reeks of bad circumstances. Think about it; you’re just mindlessly swiping left and right just on looks, and not diving into the person, who may or may not be crazy.
If you still think it’s an O.K. idea, then this story from Brobible.com should make you think twice before taking that next step after the swipe. In fact, this guy’s experience was SO BAD, he decided to start up a GoFundMe to ease his pain. Here an excerpt of his encounter.
I recently took a girl I met on tinder to Nandos. We had a lovely evening, and enjoyed each others company very much. After our meal, we repaired back to my house for a bottle of wine and a Scientology documentary.
About an hour in to Louis Theroux and chill, my date got up to use the toilet. She returned with a panicked look in her eye, and told me she had something to tell me.
“I went for a poo in your toilet”, she told me “and it would not flush. I don’t know why I did this, but I panicked”, she continued “I reached into the toilet bowl, wrapped it in tissue paper, and threw it out of the window”.
Now, there’s more to the story. Actually A LOT MORE, that you can hear on our September 21st, 2017 episode, but just in case you’re not enticed enough, here are some pictures that go along with this disaster.
Love is music. Music is Love, which is why we like to keep you on the up and up on all the stuff you should be discovering.
On our September 21st, 2017 episode, we reviewed a few albums starting with the granddaddy from the Foo Fighters, Concrete and Gold. This album is straight out of the 70’s, taking influences from bands such as Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Prince, and even the Mamas and the Papas. Plus, the guest appearances are quite the array with spots by Sir Paul McCartney, Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman, and Justin Timberlake!
Then we went to a newer band, Greta Van Fleet, who are so young, some of the members just graduated high school THIS YEAR! So far all they’ve given us is a 4 song EP called Black Smoke Rising, but if that’s a taste of what’s to come, we’re in for a treat from this band.
Queens of the Stone Age gave us our next offering with the album Villains, which isn’t too far from the wheel house we’ve come to enjoy from them.
And we gave some love to a local band to us named Behind the Gray. Not because of nepotism, but because their new album, Treason, needs to be heard by the masses.
Finally we ended things out with a new single from 30 Seconds to Mars called “Walk on Water”. No word on when the album will get released, but if the single’s here, you’d have to imagine it’s not too far away.
So there you have it. Now, you need to listen to the episode linked above, and see if your opinions side with ours.
That picture is just a microcosm of the devastation Hurricane Harvey left behind in Houston.
On our August 31st, 2017 episode we told you some stories, and how you can help, but in case you couldn’t track everything down, here’s a video showing you how.
On our August 17th, 2017 episode we talked about this guy who shot himself in the heart with a nail gun.
Now, seeing the picture above, you wouldn’t think this would be something to laugh about, but just watch how matter of fact he is about the whole ordeal, and we promise you’ll be cracking up.
And in our August 3rd, 2017 episode we took a deeper look into them, learning about the voices behind the characters. Here are some we didn’t get to.

Copper, The Fox And The Hound
There was a rumor that Kurt Russell recorded his lines for Copper while in his Escape from New York costume since both movies came around the same time, but Disney has since debunked that myth.
It’s the event everybody in Nerd Nation looks forward to, and it did not disappoint this year. Among a bunch of stuff we’ll cover on our July 27th episode, were some awesome trailers; headlined by the Justice League trailer:
Of course, Marvel couldn’t let DC win the race, so while they wouldn’t show the Avengers: Infinity War trailer to us normal folk, they did give us a trailer for Thor: Ragnarok:
And Marvel didn’t stop with movies, giving us a look into their Netflix series, The Defenders:
Speaking of Netflix, we also got the trailer for the 2nd season of Stranger Things:
And then HBO showed up to give us a teaser for the next season of Westworld:
Back to movies, we saw a trailer for Star Trek: Discovery:
And a look into the movie based off the cult favorite book, Ready Player One:
Finally, what seemed like the biggest talking points from the event, the trailer for The Walking Dead Season 8, which made more questions than answers.
So much more went down, and we’ll cover it for you this Thursday on A BRAND NEW EPISODE OF A FREAK ACCIDENT!
